Department of Periodontics attends to the structures that hold the tooth in place. The department has all the equipment to provide ultrasonic scaling & root planing, various flap surgeries, periodontal plastic surgery and also provides implant therapy to restore your smile. The department offers opportunities for our students to manage a diseased gum and to assist the various surgical procedures. It is one among the nine specialities of dentistry.
