An Anti-Ragging Orientation Programme was organized for the first-year BDS students on 23rd October 2025 at Sree Anjaneya Institute of Dental Sciences.  

Dr. Bindu R, Professor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, and DCI Member, Kerala State, served as the guest speaker for the programme. She addressed the students on the legal, ethical, and social implications of ragging and emphasized the role of professional conduct in shaping their careers as responsible dental practitioners.

The event was graced by Dr. Gopinath P.V, Principal, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the institution’s commitment to upholding a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Dr. Suji Dinesh, Dental Superintendent, felicitated the occasion and encouraged students to foster a culture of mutual respect and camaraderie.

The session aimed to create awareness among the new batch about the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment, free from any form of ragging.
