The Department of Periodontics at Sree Anjaneya Institute of Dental Science successfully organized a Poster Competition on February 23, 2026, in observance of National Periodontist Day. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 20 student teams, who showcased their knowledge and creativity on various aspects of periodontal health and disease.

The competition served as an excellent platform for students to present innovative ideas and contribute to raising awareness about the importance of periodontal care. The posters reflected both scientific understanding and creative expression, making the event both educational and engaging.

Winners of the competition were awarded first, second, and third prizes along with certificates. The awards were presented by the Principal and Head of the Department, Dr. Gopinath P.V., and the Vice Principal, Dr. Arun Tom.

The event was a great success, highlighting the active involvement of students in promoting oral health awareness and academic excellence.
