Seminar on Stem cells & Regenerative Medicine, conducted by Malabar Medical College was inaugurated by Chairman Mr.Anilkumar V yesterday at Kozhikode.

Sree Anjaneya Dental College Principal Dr. Sunil explained about the practices and procedures involved. Dr.Anil Kumar, Scientist and In Charge of Tissue Culture and Biomedical Technicnology at Sree Chithira Thirunal Institute, Trivandrum presented paper on Promises and Challenges in Bio Fabrication of Tissues.

Dr. Manikandan Ramanathan, professor at Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, Chennai delivered lecture on Applications of Biomaterials Oral & Maxillofacial Region. Stem cells and Regenerative Medicine is the modern medical science of developing Live Organs from Stem Cells in labora-tories. The Medical Technology is expected to be savior of Man kind in saving them from many diseases in the coming years.
